Kaleb’s Travels The life and times of Kaleb Guard

A couple of weeks ago I went to stay with Mum and Granny for the weekend and I was asked by my karate teacher to go to a tournament on the Sunday morning so I asked Mum if she could take me to it but she said that she was going to go to the zoo with my sister and brother, so my Granny and Poppa Ashley took me to it instead.

Hi everybody. I am really sorry about the big gap in blogs. I got a bit sick of writing blogs and stopped, but today I had some free time and Dad said that if I write two blogs he will buy me a basketball. So I decided to come and write some blogs. Here is a blog about my weekend.

On Friday afternoon, my aunty Jess came and picked me up from my house and took me to my mum's house. I stayed there for the rest of the weekend. That night Mum and I watched "Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe". I had seen it before but it was cool to see the movie with my mum.

I was looking for some photos to use for Gmail and found a photo of me and my friend Oscar and I thought I could change it a bit

In this blog I talk about going to Masetepe and what we did there. We were going to Masatepe to look for furniture for the house.

In the morning, Veronica (Dad and Bridget's Spanish teacher) came and picked us up to go to Masetepe. So we locked up the house and headed off. But we found out that on the way we were going to drop off another teacher and one of her students to a farm where there was another Spanish school. The student's name was Alan and he was from England. On the way, I talked to him about London and the countries I have been to in my travels.

After spending a few days in Ometepe we went to San Juan del Sur which is a very nice beach town in the south west of Nicaragua.

I was in the GIMP doing the robot in the mountains which I've already posted and, after I had finished it, I had all these scraps so I did this with them. I used the wand and moved them and stuff.

Anyway here it is:

I was looking at the photos of the first Mombacho trip and found a picture of a butterfly that Dad took. I thought I could change it a bit by doing some stuff in GIMP

I recently installed and have been playing around with a graphics program called Xara. Here's what I did to make this image.

This entry is about Ometepe a very nice island in the middle of the lake of Nicaragua. It’s also about our friend Leah visiting us from Australia.

On the day that Leah was supposed to arrive from Australia I was very excited. But, when I got home from school and Dad and Bridget said that she hadn't arrived yet because her plane was delayed. I came in through the door and, when I got in, Leah jumped out from behind the door and scared me to bits!

I was using the GIMP and I thought of some pictures I had and that they would look good together. So I went and got the photos and did some things to them and when I was finished I had this.
