Kaleb’s Travels The life and times of Kaleb Guard

After our long flight Nana and I were finally in Hong Kong... and it was amazing. The airport there was massive, it was in the middle of the city and it was very fun.

We went and had a look at the antiques (they were amazing too). After a while we got tired and wanted to go back to the lounge and on the way back we saw a food place and noticed there were people eating in a big plastic... plane. We got back to the lounge and had a shower. I was in there for ages and it woke me up a bit. Then I got out and saw that there was some sandwiches to eat so I took some. I found some really nice ones and took about four—two for Nana and two for me. Then I collapsed on the couch next to Nana and started eating. It was hot in the lounge, so when I finished my sandwiches I got changed. getting changed helped because I got cool again like I was in the plane.

After I got changed I had some mini pretzels, which were nice. They were a bit salty but that’s just how they are meant to be. Next we did some shopping I got a mini mouse with a retractable cord for my laptop, I also got some noise canceling headphones. We went back to the lounge and I started to fall to sleep so Nana said “Let’s go to the terminal encase you fall asleep completely, because then you won’t be able to walk”.

We got to the terminal and still had to wait a while for the plane to London, so we went further up in the airport... Nana woke me up and said “You should have seen your face!”... I was walking along pulling my suitcase half asleep (I was very tired). We went back to the terminal and went down the ramp to the plane. I just had to keep my eyes open... and I did. We got in the plane, found our seats and I really wanted to get some sleep.

At the very end, I felt glad to have seen a different country. I felt some rumbling from the plane as we went to the runway just as I was dozing off and... fewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... We were off.

On the plane to London I remember watching some TV but I was asleep for the rest of the way. When I woke up we were in London and I saw lights from out the window and they looked like they were in the shape of Santa and his reindeer and the big light shining of the window was Rudolf’s nose. There were at lest a million lights and probably more. Then we were in London and Nana looked at me and I had the biggest smile on my face... because I was going to see London and my uncle Ben AND my Poppa.
