On the 3rd of March, we went in my uncle Ben's car to Windsor Castle. We were in the car for at least two hours and I fell asleep. The next thing I knew I felt a tap on my head and, when I looked up, there right in front of me stood Windsor Castle.

I jumped up out of the car and started to run up to the castle past a lot of other people who were there to see the castle too. Ben and Pop ran after me while Nana walked up. About half way up a small hill before the entrance Ben and I slowed down.
When we got to the top of the hill we could see down to the entrance and Ben looked back down the hill to see were Nana was. She... wasn't there!! Then we realised that Poppa wasn't there either... A couple of minutes later Ben and I spotted a gray haired lady standing down at the gate of the entrance. Ben and I ran down to her. I tried to say “Nana” and Ben tried to say “Mum”. But because we said it together it came out like “Muna”! There was a silence and then the lady turned around. It was Nana. She must have walked past us on the hill when Ben and I turned to look back for her. And we must have missed her because of all the other people. She said “What did you two just call me?”. Then we said it again: “Nanum”! She said “Oookay?”. Then Ben and I said “Mana...”, then I continued “...we were trying to say Nana and Mum but they sort of got mixed together and... well... well it made Nanum, Mana and Muna!”. “What does that mean?” asked Nana. “We'll it was s'posed to be Nana and Mum but because they got mixed together they didn't make sense”. We all laughed. Then we saw Poppa jogging up to us and he said “Where have you been? I've already gone in looking for you. I thought that you had gone in, so thinking you did, I went in”.

After all this nonsense, we were finally walking into Windsor Castle. I spotted a Swan sitting on a wall and it was beautiful. We went through the entrance and we saw lots of gargoyles and plants and beautiful flowers. Then we went into the castle and it was amazing! There was a really big doll's house that had it's own electricity and plumbing (toilets that flushed). They had put in a garage with lots of old fashion cars. There was even a hose, which probably worked, and there were even real plants. The doll's house belonged to Queen Mary when she was a little girl.
The next room was cool; there were different dolls and doll's clothes and a car that the dolls could go in.
After that we went into a room that was like an art gallery. The art was beautiful and the frames were covered in gold.
Then we went into another room. It was the armoury and it was massive. It had all the sheilds belonging to the knights. Some of them were just blank white! - they had no emblems. Nana said the knights who owned them were bad and said something about them not having a code or something. Dad says it would be that they had no code of honour.
The next room was large but narrow and we came to a stop at the middle of the room. There were so many guns and swords... just so many different weapons all shiny and made from metal and wood.
The bedrooms were next and they were gigantic. Each bedroom had a huge bed and the one I liked was King Henry the First's because it had two secret doors (Nana said they were probably just the bathrooms).
Then we went to a room were you can put money in a slot in a dragon's mouth and then the eyes glow red and smoke comes out of its nose.
That was it for the rooms. We went back through the castle and left. It was lots of fun and I was sad we were leaving.
It was time for lunch so we went to a pub down the road from the castle and I had chips.
We noticed on our way back to the car that somone was getting fish pellets. They were going over to the pond next to the deli and were feeding the Swans. We went and got some too and we fed the Swans as well. We had to leave and I thought it was a shame that we couldn't keep feeding swans because it was fun and we did not do it for very long.
We got in the car and drove to the hotel. When we got back it was dark so a half an hour later I went to bed and we got ready for another great day.
