Kaleb’s Travels The life and times of Kaleb Guard

There are 2 children first: Howie and Eddie. They are good friends. Eddie has a poor, sick and weird great-aunt: Aunt Mathilda. Howie and Eddie are going to the park to meet some other friends and end up going to "CRAZY" aunt Mathilda's house to give her supper. She says go and water the garden. When they're in the garden, Howie sees something in the attic window. He thinks it's a ghost. He only sees a hat floating in the air before he gets hit in the face with water. He looks down and there is Eddie shooting him with the hose and then Howie screams STOP IT NOW!!!

Later while Eddie and Howie walk to the park they talk about Eddie's aunt. They see their friends Melody and Liza at an old oak tree. When the friends see Eddie and Howie coming, they stop talking and they cross their arms. Melody tells Eddie that he shouldn't talk about his aunt like because shes just old and sick. When Eddie heard that he turned and walked away, he didn't like His great aunt Mathilda anyway. The three other kids decided for a check on her and told Eddie, so at 7:00pm Eddie, Howie, Melody and Liza walked down aunt Mathilda's driveway and went in she was sitting up in her bed the floor was covered in used tissues and was very creaky she waited for a plate to be put in front of her and it happened. she took a bite and she spited it all over the bed. “This is too cold!!” yelled aunt Mathilda. They all went down to the kitchen to heat it up a bit they put it in the oven and they went back up to aunt Mathilda's room. She was siting up in bed still but was shuffling some cards and then said “poker anyone”. they sat down and tried to win but they kept losing they finally lose the last game, when they see some black smock coming from the kitchen it was the casserole they had forgot the casserole and now its burnt. they were in trouble because aunt Mathilda would not be able to eat it now ether. Aunt Mathilda came down and said what have you done..!? They explained and then she gave them some money and said “get me something to eat or I may die!” They came back from the shop and went up stairs they gave the food to aunt Mathilda and went home. On the way they were thinking of what would they do if Howie really did see a real GHOST! In the middle of the night Howie woke up and went to all the Friends houses they all went to aunt Mathilda's house and all got in to the house they heard many strange noises that night. They got to the bed room that was aunt Mathilda's and saw her sleeping she very slowly opened her blood shot eyes and said is that you Jasper? in a very nice way. She got up and started walking like a mummy to the door where they were all standing. They got her back in bed. Eddie said call 911 shes delirious. The ambulance got there and took her away the kids were left alone in the old old house they saw that the door to the attic was swinging open shut open shut. They started moving toward the attic they were in the attic now and were in front of a big trunk they opened it and they found uncle Jaspers hat in it. They felt something under the lining Eddie riped the material and the kids gulped when they saw what was inside . There it was all the money that aunt Mathilda needed. A week later the 4 Bailey school kids went to the horrible old house again and then they noticed that it looked better than usual it was a new house and there at the front door stood the new AUNT MATHILDA!! The two new things looked great! Then aunt Mathilda said what are you doing out here come in and have a game of poker.
