Kaleb’s Travels

When we were in Nigeria we went to a pizza place. We only went to the place once. I really liked this pizza place; it had upstairs downstairs and good pizza and really comfortable chairs. I cant remember what the pizza place was called (sorry).

We went by car to the restaurant. Jerome drove, of course. He drove us everywhere. At the front it was green and white like Christmas colours except without red. Nana, Pop and I all got out of the car and went inside.

When we got in, a waiter seated us. The waiter was a tall man with curly hair and black rimed glasses. He handed us our menus; they were in English so it was easy to read them. There were many options to choose from so it was a bit hard to decide.

We ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down while the waiter was still there. We got to order at the table not in a line like at Gino's (that was good). I had a sprite. I cant remember the name of Pop's drink, but I had a taste and it was good; Nana had a water I think, but i'm not sure about that either.

We got our drinks and ordered our pizzas. I got a Margarita with no tomato and it was great. I cant remember what Pop and Nana had, but they shared a big pizza. We ordered the same way siting at the table.

Then we waited for every thing to come... we were waiting a long time, so I got a bit bored. We drank our drinks while we waited. We kept saying "Where are our pizzas? Really, where are they?".

Finally the pizzas came and they looked great. My Margarita had parsley on the top. They smelled great too. We saw it come out on a massive tray it was really massive, the waiter put them down on the table and we were just amazed.

Then we ate our pizzas. Mine tasted great. The texture was perfect it wasn't too soft and it wasn't too hard, it was in between. I didn't taste Nana and Pop's pizza so I don't know what it was like.

I ordered a takeaway dessert from a display fridge. They all looked good, mine was orange and green.

Poppa went to the counter after the waiter brought the bill and he paid for the everything and left a tip. Then we headed home.

When we got home, we went up to the apartment and I went to my room and played a computer game until we had dinner. I played pinball for an hour. It wasn't that much fun but that is all I could do.

We had some steamed vegetables for dinner that poppa made. It was pretty nice I must say.

I had the cake I got from the pizza place and I don't remember what Nana and Poppa had for dessert but I didn't try it either. It was really nice my dessert.

I had my shower and got ready for bed at about 8:20, my shower was good it was very small tough because my shower was tiny. I got out and got dry and went to get dressed. I got dressed and went to bed I had a great sleep that night and then I got up in the morning happy and was happy all day
