Kaleb’s Travels The life and times of Kaleb Guard

The next day we went out to look for some breakfast and we couldn't find anything so we went to a shopping centre which served breakfast and I had some macaroni and cheese, Pop had a burger and Nana had bacon and eggs on toast. We went back to our relatives house and stayed until lunch and now I will introduce them. Daphne is my great-great Aunt and John is my great-great Uncle. They are very nice people and they love kids, especially Daphne, because as soon as I stepped into the house She nearly suffocated me from hugging me so tight. After nearly suffocating I got to have some lemonade and a cheese bun for lunch. I had a play with a Thomas the Tank Engine train set they had there. The train went around a track that I had to make up from plastic pieces in the set. Then we went to see Rose and we got in our car and followed John's car.

When we got to the nursing home we went into a room filled with old people and then I saw John sit next to an old lady and he said “this is your great-great grandmother Kaleb” and I walked over and said “hello”. A nurse came and put Rose in a wheel-chair and wheeled her into another room so that we could have a good talk in private. We had a talk and some hugs and then Nana showed Rose her heart shaped locket which has a picture of me and Tootsie. There was some writing on the outside and it was very small. But Rose could read it very clearly, even though she is 100 years old now. We took some photos and then we went back to John and Daphne's house and we all had a cup of tea.

I kept playing with the Thomas the Tank Engine toy again for about an hour and then Nana Poppa and I left to go back to London. We dropped off the car. We caught a train and then we were gone going back to the fun of London and my birthday which I will be writing about soon!
