Kaleb’s Travels

One night I was sleeping and I heard some noises; they were so loud that they woke me up - I wasn't very happy! I got out of bed and followed the sound. It lead to the porch out the back where my toy cars were sitting on the floor. I saw some really little squares of paper and they had either red or black dots on them. I looked a bit closer and I noticed the squares of paper were tiny playing cards. My toy cars were playing cards with their wheels poking out so they could move the cards! The noises I heard were the cars laughing together. But when cars laugh it's the engine revving. I was amazed!

I picked up all my toy cars and took them into the bathroom. I thought that if I put them in the bucket of water (that we have in the bathroom for when there is no tap water) they would sink to the bottom, and they would stop laughing, and I would get to sleep. I put them in the bucket full of water but they didn't sink! They swam to the side and drove back out to the porch. I went back out there and they had gone back to playing cards. So I picked them up again and took them into my room and put them in the drawer of my dresser and closed the drawer, and went back to bed. I thought they wouldn't be able to escape from there! Three minutes later I heard a knocking on wood. I listened closely to find out where the sound was coming from. It was my drawer! The next second the drawer flew open, so wide it couldn't open any further, and I saw five cars drive out and onto the porch. And again, the cars were sitting playing cards!

I took them upstairs where my fabric suitcase was and put them in the suitcase and locked it with a padlock. I went back to bed and said "that will do it.". I snuggled down, ready to go to sleep. I was just drifting off, when I heard the sound of ripping fabric coming from upstairs. I lay in bed and yelled "WWWHHYYYYYY!!!!"
