Masetepe

In this blog I talk about going to Masetepe and what we did there. We were going to Masatepe to look for furniture for the house.

In the morning, Veronica (Dad and Bridget's Spanish teacher) came and picked us up to go to Masetepe. So we locked up the house and headed off. But we found out that on the way we were going to drop off another teacher and one of her students to a farm where there was another Spanish school. The student's name was Alan and he was from England. On the way, I talked to him about London and the countries I have been to in my travels.

When we got to the farm, we got out for a little while too. I went and had a look at the views and so did Dad.

We found out that the name of it was Flor de Pochote. There were some people there and I think they lived there. One of the people was a boy that said I could go on a horse if I wanted but I couldn't that day because we were busy. On the way out of the farm house we saw two puppies and they were very cute and I got a picture of one them with it's tongue out.

After playing with the puppies for little while, we left for Masatepe to look for furniture. We went to a few different places but couldn't find anything we wanted, but eventually we found a place where they would make whatever furniture we wanted for us. A lady who worked there gave us a magazines with pictures of furniture in them and we sort of chose things from there. Dad also drew pictures for some of the things too. We got bed-side tables, a TV unit, some day beds, and a chest of drawers. Dad and the lady agreed on a price and she said she would deliver them later.

After that it was getting late and we headed home.

I think I would like go to Flor de Pochote again and I liked talking to Alan. My favorite part of the trip was playing with the puppies, they were so cute.
