I decided that I wanted to play with pattern fill and gradient using the GIMP.
This is what I came up with. I think that those two things that I used looked really nice together.

It looks very good kaleb and it looks like lighting in a ball. Kaleb thanks for telling us your web site. Your art pictures are very funny, especially the picture with the man and the kangaroo head and the monkey.
