One day I was reading a book about an alien. It was a very funny book. The first page had a picture of the alien's flying saucer . I thought that the picture looked a lot like my toy flying saucer that a bought in London. When I finished the book I went into my room and to play with my toy flying saucer. My flying saucer is yellow and orange, and it can actually fly. It uses a propellor and a remote control, and you have to be careful with it outside, because it can go really high, even over the fence.
I took it outside and put it down on the ground, and was distracted by all the birds singing. All of a sudden the flying saucer was going up and up and up and up and not stopping, and I hadn't even touched the remote control. In fact, I didn't even have it in my hand. It was so high that I couldn't see it, but when I yelled "come back!" in less than one second there it was on the ground again. I thought that was really weird, because I didn't have the remote control, but it responded to me yelling!
I looked very carefully around the top of the flying saucer and there was a little green alien! So not only did my toy flying saucer looked excactly like the picture from the book, but the alien looked exactly like the description in the book! Did that mean that flying saucer that belonged to the alien in the story was ACTUALLY MY toy flying saucer? That's crazy!
"What are you doing with my flying saucer?" I asked.
"Well actually it's my real flying saucer, to get around in" The alien answered. The alien spoke really strangely, because he had two tongues in his mouth, and that meant that when he talked, whatever he said was repeated by the second tongue. And his voice was highpitched and squeaky, and he talked fast.
"It's mine! Because I bought it in a toy store in London! I remember it! And why would they have your flying saucer?" I asked the alien.
"Well I was flying down to earth to get myself a pet mouse, because Jupiter doesn't have mice. I went through a cloud and the propellors got wet, and that meant that the propellor went out of control, really fast, and I crashed onto the Hammley's toyshop in London! Then they found the UFO, and it looked exactly like all the UFO's they were selling as toys, and so they put it on the shelf to be sold." Said the alien, and then all the words echoed back from the second tongue.
Obviously, the alien wanted to go back to Jupiter to see his friends, but he couldn't without his UFO, that I had accidentally bought. I felt very sorry for him because he was so small and far away from his friends. So I said, "You can have my flying saucer so you can go home.".
The alien looked really happy that he was getting his flying saucer back. "Would you like to come to Jupiter with me?" He asked.
I thought about it for a little while but I remembered that Jupiter didn't have the right kind of air for me to breathe. So I decided that I wouldn't go. I said "No thanks, I'd rather stay here." Then I said, "How would I get in the ufo anyway?" Because I thought it was really small.
The alien said "I would shrink you."
"Wow! How can you do that?"
The alien said "I've got a shrinker gun!" Then the alien decided it was time to go. He got onto my flying saucer and said goodbye.
I waved as the flying saucer was started to make a buzzing humming sort of noise and then it shot up into the sky like a rocket.
I was feeling pretty surprised and pleased because I finally knew what aliens can look like! And I felt good about myself because I had given a gift to somebody. I had been really nice and loving. Maybe it was a skill I had got from of my Nana.
(Just to let you know I didn't do it all Bridget did but that is ok I Thank her here)

Kaleb's ideas!
Kaleb came up with the general idea, and then I helped him out getting it all down in writing so it was a group effort and it's all firing out of his brain! But wait till you read the next one, Liz, because Kaleb pretty much wrote the whole thing himself, and it's really, really impressive!
