Blog: A strange day

I don’t know how to explain it. Was it crazy? Was it exciting? Or was it plain boring? Well, it was all of them.

Today we went to the “Parque Central” in Granada and waited.

...

But we weren’t interested in that. We were waiting for something else... something to move... something to happen.

Suddenly, a horse came by and fell over on the slippery, wet road.

An hour later we heard everybody screaming and saw everyone running but nothing was happening. A little while later it happened again... and then again but still there was nothing.

Then thundering hooves; a black object coming. A BULL A BULL!

Everybody was screaming like crazy. The bull was out on its own, running the street wild. Then men on horses came racing and every one was chasing the bull.

People were still screaming. Two big white bulls ran past.

Something black came up and through the park. A rumbling of hooves. Another big black bull came through. This one was angry! It had been pulled by men on horses with ropes but it was loose. It jumped and pulled and swung its huge head and horns around trying to hit people nearby.

...

It was over so we left. But when we were almost home we saw more people screaming and running on our street. Another bull had escaped and was running right toward us!

But we got inside before it got to where we were. We were safe and sound at home (where I am right now).

The Bull chase
