Kaleb’s Travels

On Sunday morning I went outside to look at the flowers to check if there were any new ones on the bush. While I was outside I decided to sit in the new BIG hammock that we bought on Friday and put up yesterday. I got in there and at first it was fine because I was sitting in the hammock swinging and having fun. BUT…

when I went to get up I lost my balance and fell backwards… back inside the hammock. The big hammock is SO big that I almost get lost inside it. So when I fell backwards into the hammock I got trapped in the hammock and couldn’t figure out how to get up. So I called out to dad: “HELP! HELP! I’M STUCK IN THE HAMMOCK! HELP ME!!!!!” So dad came outside and found me trapped in the hammock. And then he pulled me out… BUT because I had to roll out of the hammock, and he was trying to pull me out of the hammock I ended up rolling off onto the floor. That’s alright, I’m used to it. But I rolled UNDER the hammock as well, and then I tried to stand up and to move towards the edge but the hammock was so big it was pulling me back towards the OTHER opening…

on the other side. I kept on trying but the hammock wanted to eat me for breakfast. I ended up getting out by lying down on the floor again so the hammock couldn’t touch me and rolling out fast before it figured out that I was escaping. So I managed to get out. Luckily, my camera was set to take photos on the timer so there are pictures of my ordeal.
